I am receiving several messages asking about our policies for the pool. Everyone signed our rules and regulations which clearly outlines these policies. Today’s situation was an accident and from what I understand was not due to anyone violating our policies. Hi All – I am sorry to report that the pool has to be shut down today due to feces in the water. The CDC requires us to shut the pool down and treat it before opening it again. We are hoping to get it opened tomorrow as long as we can get an inspector out to confirm that it is clean and safe. I will let you know once the pool is re-opened. Thank you. Jane.

HI All!

I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying this fantastic weather. I am sure most are looking forward to the holiday next week.

Just wanted to update you on some things….

The outdoor television on the 8th floor amenity deck has officially been declared not repairable. We are in the process of purchasing a new one. They run $10K or more so I am obligated to obtain bids before purchasing. This process is nearly completed and we should be placing the order in the next day or so.

We are aware that the TV in the fitness center is only playing 3 channels. We have had Verizon come out to correct this situation and they are claiming they are unable to do so. I am in the process of changing providers and I am certain that this will fix it. I do apologize for this inconvenience but please know that we have been working on it.

I have received some requests to add some lighter and heavier weights to the fitness center. The lighter weights have been added and I am working on ordering the heavier weights. I hope to have that added shortly.

Although I have not had any complaints about the landscaping on the 8th floor I am personally not happy with it. I am getting pricing from some landscapers to enhance this area and make it more vibrant for everyone.

I would just like to remind all of our pet owners to not allow the pets to “go” on the grass or any other area on the 8th floor. This is killing our grass and other residents are upset about pet waste.

Another reminder about elevator courtesy. If you live on floors 2 – 12 please try and use the P2 elevator only. This helps with the delays for people living on the other floors.

Regarding a new manager. I have still not found the right person for this community. I am being very selective as I want to ensure that the person who is the manager here is the right fit. I am sorry that it is taking so long.

We have not forgotten about our annual summer party. I am hoping we have a new manager in place when we plan that but if not I will definitely plan it myself. It will probably be nearer the end of August so stay tuned!

I know that there are some residents who would like to plan some events for the building. I am happy to discuss these and assist in any way I can including providing the space and food. Just let me know and we can certainly talk about it!

HI All –

Elevator PE4 is operational however PE3 will be down until tomorrow as it seems it has a burnt contactor. Again, I apologize as I know that having an elevator down is a huge inconvenience for you. I would ask that anyone living on floors 2 – 12 be considerate of the residents living on the higher floors and only use the PE2 elevator.
