Subject: The Morgan Housekeeping Items

Dear Valued Residents of The Morgan,

Hope you’re all having a wonderful Friday and are ready for the weekend!
We would like to remind you all of a few housekeeping items that have been brought to our attention by your neighbors. By abiding by these polices you help with the cleanliness and beautification of your home.
Trash:
• All cardboard boxes must be broken down, tied or taped together and brought down to the first floor for our team to properly dispose of.
• Cardboard cannot be placed down the trash chute.
• All garbage must be in tightly sealed bags and put in the trash chute. They are not to be left on the floor of the trash rooms.
Light bulbs:
• The property will not replace the light bulbs in your home, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause for you.
• Maintenance will replace the following light bulbs for you:
• Vanity lights in the bathrooms.
• Bathtub/shower lights,
• Half-moon lights typically located in the dining room areas.
• Appliance lights.
• If you need to replace the light bulbs, the type of light bulb we use in the home is BR30 65 Watt.
Pets:
• When walking your pets in our community, remember that it should be leashed. Also, it is important to remember to immediately clean up after your pet. Take along a baggie with you to pick up waste with and then dispose of it properly.
Items in hallways:
• It is important to remember that leaving trash and doormats in front of your door in the hallways poses serious concerns. In case of emergency, doormats and trash left in the hallways are a trip hazard. Please take the time to remove your door mats from outside the hallways if you have one.
We thank you all for your cooperation and understanding as we continue to make The Morgan a happy home for everyone.

As always, please feel free to call us at 201-433-7000 if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.

The Morgan Management Team

YES!  A general building update, these are like red meat for us!

Oh, wait a minute, this is just a restatement of the rules and generally haranguing residents for not following them.  Look, we fully recognize that the elevator situation and overall building health has been on an improving trajectory since B— started as our full time manager.  However, as much as we were critical of Absentee Jane, she at least mixed her admonishments of residents with factual updates about building problems or status.  The elevators still break from time to time, but new management’s omerta on talking about ongoing building problems while only criticizing residents isn’t a good look.
