From: B A (Manager) Date: October 23, 2018, 9:35 pm Subject: Fire Department Alert and Elevators Down
Dear Valued Residents of The Morgan,
This evening at approximately 8:30 PM the fire department was called for a fire scare in the building, fortunately, everyone is safe thanks to the proactive efforts of the Jersey City Fire Department. Due to this event all elevators were down for 14 minutes. In emergency situations the fire department mandates a shut down of all elevators to assess any possible risk factors.
They are responsible for resetting the elevators when they see that there is no risk in the building. At this time all the elevators are fully functioning. I understand that elevators being down is frustrating and inconvenient but I thank you all for allowing the fire department and management to assure the fire safety of the all residents.
If you should have any additional questions, please feel free to contact me directly at [email protected].
Thank you,
B A
