Subject: Elevator Update

Hi All The elevators are operating. The high temperatures today caused the breakers to trip in the elevator room located on the roof (the one short elevator room is separate and on a lower floor inside the building which is why it remained operational). Despite us having air conditioning and venting in the elevator room it still got too hot. We are going to add another AC unit in the room to prevent this from happening again. I do apologize for this and I completely understand why some of you are upset and angry. We have completed several expensive repairs to our elevators and they have been operating at a much better level than before however, these are machines and they will break down. I am working towards making things better here for you at The Morgan and I hope you have seen some improvements. Please believe me when I say that I take this very seriously and will keep doing whatever I can to make improvements. Thank you. Best, Jane.

Hi All There was a power outage that affected us only the elevators. Currently the only elevator working is the one that goes to floor 12. We are on site working on this and the elevator company has been called out. I will keep you posted as things progress. I am so sorry this happened. Thank you, Jane.

Good Afternoon – We hope everyone is excited for the 4th of July Holiday! And yes, the pool has re-opened! We are expecting that many of our residents will be using the pool tomorrow and into the weekend. We are asking that everyone be respectful of their neighbors and follow the pool rules which are attached for your convenience. We want to ensure that everyone is able to enjoy the pool and all of our amenities. If there is a lifeguard at your pool please consider them to be an extension of our team and that part of their job is to ensure that the pool area is maintained and that the rules are followed. I understand that there was another incident in the pool today which has caused it to shut down. It should be open again tomorrow. I am working towards a resolution on this. I understand people are upset and I am aware that this is an issue. I am receiving several messages asking about our policies for the pool. Everyone signed our rules and regulations which clearly outlines these policies. If you require a copy please email me at [email protected] and I will email it to you when I return to my office on Monday. Today’s situation was an accident and from what I understand was not due to anyone violating our policies. Hi All – I am sorry to report that the pool has to be shut down today due to feces in the water. The CDC requires us to shut the pool down and treat it before opening it again. We are hoping to get it opened tomorrow as long as we can get an inspector out to confirm that it is clean and safe. I will let you know once the pool is re-opened. Thank you. Jane.
